في يوم بهيج ملئ فرحاً وأنسا استقبلت مدرسة خصيبة الابتدائية ممثلة بقسم التوجيه والإرشاد بالمدرسة طلابها المستجدين ، وذلك ضمن برامج الاسبوع التمهيدي لعام ١٤٣٥هجريا
ففي يوم الأحد الموافق ٥/ ١١ /١٤٣٥
تم استقبال الطلاب وأولياء أمورهم وكان في استقبالهم مدير المدرسة الاستاذ محمد عبدالهادي الفريدي ، ووكيل المدرسة الاستاذ بدر بندر الشملان
والمرشد الطلابي الاستاذ فهد عليان الفريدي ، ومعلمو الصفوف الأولية
حيث هيئ للطلاب مكاناً واسعا في ساحة المدرسة لاستقبالهم وإقامة البرامج لهم وفق الخطة التي أعدت سابقا
وقد تم توزيع الكتيب الارشادي على الطلاب وجدول الاسبوع التمهيدي ومواعيد الاستقبال والانصراف
تم بحمد الله إقامة كثير من البرامج الترفيهية والمسابقات الثقافية والألعاب الحركية ، وتم تعريف الطلاب بمرافق المدرسة وتوزيع كثير من الهدايا والألعاب عليهم والتي لاقت استحسانهم وكسرت حاجز الخوف والرهبة ، وجعلتهم يندمجون مع جو المدرسة ، حيث هو الهدف من إقامة هذا البرنامج
